A novel technique for texture description and image classification based in RGB compositions

At present, facial recognition entertains great importance in performing authentication processes, because it prevents unauthorized access to devices and places. Additionally, allows for the identification of persons. Henceforth, this paper proposes a novel texture descriptor called Cyclical Chroma new classification technique, which takes consideration sub-pixel values 0–255 each RGB (Red, Green, Blue) channel that conforms image. To verify effectiveness proposed techniques, tests were performed with database images controlled environment one under uncontrolled conditions; additionally, was tested different classifier, denominated Multiclass Classifier, results compared against other descriptors, including GLCM, SHDH, LQP, CCR, demonstrating techniques 100% efficiency 78% conditions prior application an equalization increasing 100%.
